Another fabulous week, 20 students, all got on well, anyone walking in to the studio would think they'd all known each other forever. Wide range of experience from beginner to exhibition standard
This year (2010) we visited Woodbridge and Flatford, painted by the river and in the grounds at Dedham Hall. We were rained off going to Pin Mill this year, I also had plans to visit a large landscaped garden nearby, also rained off. We made up for this by studio demonstrations and working on material gathered earlier
THE COURSE
Enjoy painting in the tranquil surroundings of Constable country. As well as being a painter’s paradise the vale of Dedham has many attractive walks. The picturesque villages of Kersey and Lavenham are nearby. Dedham Hall is set in six acres of ground.
The course covers techniques and materials with a view to improving your painting. I welcome beginners as well as the more experienced painter. There is a large studio in the grounds in which you will be able to work or watch a demonstration on oil, acrylic or watercolour in the evening.
